Sea Turtle Conservation

Sea turtles have existed on earth since the days of the dinosaurs. There are currently seven species of sea turtles, also called marine turtles, but there were once many more. Although each modern sea turtle species is different, having adapted to different environments and available food, their numbers are dwindling.

In order to be successful in helping to conserve the turtle populations, a multi-faceted approach is necessary. These efforts include protecting turtle nesting sites, enforcing regulations to reduce illegal hunting and poaching, spreading awareness amongst local communities, and developing natural habitat conservation initiatives.

A portion of the proceeds from each ornament sold on our site will go directly to the respective sea turtle conservation program to help provide the vital resources they need to help save these beautiful animals.

We hope that you love your ornament(s) and thank you for your support of these well deserving and dedicated programs!
